More info on how to level your alliance character quickly. Something I forgot to mention, classes that have pets (hunters, warlocks, etc) seem to move a little quicker through the levels. The reason being is that the pet can deal damage and soak up damage from the enemy.
Level 7
Off to Goldshire. Grab "Rest and Relaxation" quest on your way. Turn in your two quests when you get to Goldshire. Also be sure to make the Inn your home. No need warping back to Northshire. Pick up "Gold Dust Exchange", "Kobold Candles", "The Fargodeep Mine", and "A Fishy Peril". Do "A Fishy Peril" to get the followup, "Further Concerns". Head in to the woods. Go to Stonefield Farm and get "Princess Must Die!" and "Lost Necklace". Go to Billy in the Vineyards to turn in "Lost Necklace" and get the followup "Pie for Billy". You need 4 Chunk of Boar Meat so get to killin'. Go to Stonefield Farm to turn in "Pie for Billy" and get "Back to Billy". Go to Billy a final time and turn in quest. Get followup "Goldtooth".
Head to Fargodeep Mine. Go through the entrance on the bottom. Taking out Goldtooth and getting the Necklace should complete two quests. Working through the mine should allow you to complete two more. Keep taking out Kobold until you reach level 8 and complete the quests.
Level 8
Return to Stonefield Farm and turn in quest. Warp back to Goldshire and turn in the rest of the quests. You'll get "The Jasperlode Mine" as a followup along with "Shipment to Stormwind".
Go to Stormwind and turn in "Shipment to Stormwind". While you are there, search out your class trainer and learn a profession. You can ask any Stormwind guard for directions. I recommend First Aid as one profession along with skinning and a gathering profession (mining or herbalism).
At this point, you have a few choices to make. You can go back to Goldshire and continue questing around that area. Some like to head to Kharanos from Stormwind and complete the quests in that area. Others still prefer to go to Westfall and pick up some quests in that area.
I've found it faster to go to Kharanos and do the quests in that area, starting with "Tools for Steelgrill", "Beer Basted Boar Ribs", and "Frostmane Hold." Turning "Tools for Steelgrill" at Steelgrill's Depot opens up 3 more quests. It's a little complicated to lay out here and Joan's Leveling Guide does a good job of explaning it.
Regardless of which path you choose, once you reach level 12, you've gone through the Goldshire and Kharanos quests and should be ready for your next new area, most likely, Westfall.
